God Can Use You!

Updated: Jun 19

At one time if someone said that God can use me, I would’ve said, I doubt it, I cannot see that happening. Looking back, I recognize the areas I struggled with in my Christian walk were the ones that I had not invited Jesus into. These were the areas that made me realize in my heart that I really needed Jesus.

I was no stranger to disappointment and discouragement. I walked through the valleys of despair many times. Yet God knows all my faults and weaknesses. His redeeming love reached out to me through other Christians who shared their journey and how God helped them. No matter how broken our lives become, God is able to heal our broken pieces and restores us back to Him .

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 says,

"…My grace is sufficient for you [My loving kindness and my mercy are more than enough] - always available regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and shows itself more effectively] in [your] weakness.” Therefore I will all the more gladly boast on my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me” "…He is [extraordinarily] patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.” Amplified Bible

God knows the end from the beginning. God doesn’t just only see where we are right now - He sees what we can become and His plans for us are plans for progress and success not defeat and failure (see Jeremiah 29:11). God's grace and mercy causes thankfulness in us. He is able to use our experiences by giving us opportunities to share to other people with similar struggles, about what God has done for us. The more we share what he has done in our lives, the more God is able to use us to encourage others.

If you're going through a time of discouragement, don't give up on God. Go to him in prayer and ask God to place you around people who have had similar struggles and have been able to overcome these. God cares for you and through others, he is able to help you as well.

Thank you for visiting, and please let us know if you need prayer.

God bless!
